Nice... Why is the "Y" in QWERTY not baseline aligned to the rest of the letters?

Awesome blog update. Too bad it isnt a keyboard with the shiny coating, I still like it anyway.

I would then expect the N to be raised also.

Y/N?

2 Questions:
-Why is the Y so high (not that its a big problem for me)
-How can switch to Fn Lock (shift + Fn?)

I hope the open pandora team don't do anything about this because I don't want another delay.

I doubt that it would cause any delays - These are production samples after all.

What seems to have gone wrong here is that they delivered the keyboard symbols cropped to the image inside, instead of having a consistent size. So, when you center each image on the center of the key, those with low heights (such as Y_) are offset to the center (as opposed to U*v for example). You can see this for almost every symbol, for example with G= and H`.

Too bad, but hey, this is why they sample!

Hm, true, the Y is higher than it should.
Gotta check it out.

Won't delay anything, as it doesn't affect the mould ;)

evildragon, will the keymat have transparant stickers on each buttons, just like on laptops, so the black or other ink(letters) wont fade away after a while?

The final version will have a hard shell on top so the letters won't wear off. Like this:

OK, if you're going to correct them, I now want one of the limited edition messed up font keypads.

Great news! Should the "Create the keymat mould (takes 20 - 25 days)" in the road map be striked out?

EDIT: No it shouldn't. Those are samples so the mould isn't ready yet, right?
